Solarge

Based in the Netherland, and founded in 2018, Solarge operates as a provider of solar solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial clients. In June 2025, Solarge raised an amount of venture funding from investors. Solarge manufactures solar panels using thermoplastic materials instead of traditional glass and aluminum. These panels are lighter than conventional models, making them suitable for rooftops with limited load-bearing capacity.

The design incorporates non-toxic, PFAS-free components and is intended to be fully recyclable at the end of its lifecycle. The panels are produced in the Netherlands, which allows for shorter supply chains and localized service. They are built to withstand environmental stressors such as hail and fire, and can be installed on both permanent and temporary structures, including facades. Solarge also offers assessment services, such as roof scans, to evaluate installation feasibility for commercial properties.

The company generates revenue through direct sales of solar panels, project-based installations, and partnerships with developers and installers. Its value proposition lies in combining performance with sustainability. The company plans to use the June 2025 funding to expand commercial operations and enter new markets, including Germany, Belgium, and Italy.
