The company was founded by Amy Ludlum, Charlene Chen, and CEO Elizabeth Rossiello. In April 2021, AZA Finance raised USD 50 million in series B and venture debt funding. BFX, a B2B over-the-counter platform that assists businesses with wholesale currency needs and utilizes financial infrastructures to manage liquidity and send payments to different bank networks and mobile money operators across Africa.
