Carbon Counts Tech PBC provides a mobile app called as EverForest that affects the real world when playing the game online. When players grow forests and make them flourish in-game, a new plant will be put to grow in the real world. The company preserves plant and protect trees in 11 countries around the globe including Kenya, Ethiopia, Mozambique, Madagascar, Nepal, Indonesia, Philippines, Brazil, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Haiti. The company plans to use the August 2022 funding to hire more employees and for its game development.
