Founded in 1946 and based in Genova, Italy, Ekaf Industria Nazionale Del Caffè S.p.A., doing business as Cellini Caffè, operates as a producer of different types of coffee. In 1946, The Pieri family of Amleto created Torrefazione Columbia with its first Livorno-based roastery at the end via Buontalenti. In 1990, the family acquired Ekaf, owner of the Cellini brand. The company offers ground coffee, capsules, pods, instant coffee and blends to individuals and coffee shops. Cellini Caffè also offers a coffee school, where the company trains students to learn skills and develop knowledge about coffee. The company generated EUR 40.5 million revenue in 2019, an increase of 7% compared to EUR 38 million in 2018.
