Based in Japan, established in 1947, Hakusan Inc installs communication network lines, develops, manufactures products for connections, optic communication products, and lightning prevention. It also develops, manufactures and sells thermoplastic products and welding equipment such as those used for inert gas pressure welding. The company has also recently established a human resources consulting business. The company has provided components and equipment to the Ministry of Communications and Transportation; the Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Public Corporation and the Japan National Railways. In 1989, it established a 100% subsidiary Hakusan Elex to spin-off the telecommunication manufacturing division. In 2016, the company again established a 100% subsidiary Hakusan Mfg. Co.,Ltd. However, these 2 subsidiaries were eventually merged with Hakusan again later that same year, then in 2018.
