Based in Seoul, South Korea, and founded in 2019, Bigpot Corporation, d.b.a. NUART provides painting or art purchase service, allowing individuals to purchase paintings through a website as well as a mobile application without physically visiting the art gallery. In March 2022, NUART raised KRW 300 million in seed funding from Korea Technology Finance Corporation. As of August 2022, Lee Jung-woo is the CEO of the company. NUART offers an art collection and selling platform, enabling users to access visuals on art as well as purchase the selected artworks through their devices without making a visit to the physical store. The platform also allows users to consult on the purchase of desired artwork by connecting with the gallerist without visiting the gallery. NUART plans to use its proceeds from March 2022 funding to improve its service and cover the cost of initial advertisements.
