About

Based in US, Recreation Resource Management, Inc. operates as a provider of facilities services for public campgrounds and recreation areas in multiple states across the US. The company was founded by Warren Meyer in 1988 to provide private operations management for public parks, campgrounds, recreational areas and other facilities of a similar nature. In December 2020, Recreation Resource Management and California Land Management merged into one large company. For the past 30 years, the primary operation of the company has been the turnkey operation and refurbishment of public parks and campgrounds. Since 2008, the company started investing millions of dollars in the upgrade of current facilities and addition of new facilities in the parks. Over the past 5-10 years, the company has signed long-term operating contracts with public agencies like Tennessee Valley Authority and Alabama State Parks based on investments by the company in the deferred maintenance repair of the parks. Recreation Resource Management, Inc. is responsible for the end-to-end management, operation and maintenance of the property. It performs cleaning work, regulates the operating expenses and looks after the insurance of the property, collects revenue and pays the revenue share to the government. It provides 175 facilities like campground operations, including reservations, visitor services, and maintenance, gift shops, marinas, snow play areas, and day use sites. The company also operates facilities for the US Forest Service, the National Park Service, California State Parks, Arizona State Parks, Texas State Parks, the United Water Conservation District and the Lower Colorado River Authority. Warren Meyer is a strong advocate for public-private partnerships that increase amenities for park visitors while providing financial stability for federal, state, and local governments. The occupancy fees are affordable for park visitors at less than $30 per night on average. Despite periodic shutdowns in the spring and fall, both RRM and CLM were operating at capacity at a majority of their campsites during the peak season. The company provides enhanced amenities like cabins and yurts.
