In December 2012, Adam de la Zerda incorporates Click Diagnostics. Soon after, Greg Loney joins as a founding executive and the VP of engineering. In 2017, it develops its first fully-integrated device, small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, the PCR test delivers rapid and accurate results. In March 2020, Click Diagnostics officially becomes Visby Medical. In July 2020, Visby Medical has a functional COVID-19 test and receives its first authorization from the FDA in September 2020. Visby Medical, Inc. develops diagnostic instruments and specializes in the development of single-use handheld testing kits, providing patients with solutions that deliver fast and accurate results and detect infectious diseases. Visby Medical, Inc. raised grant funding to speed the development of its rapid test kits, funded by BARDA Funding.
