Zendo Energy Limited

Based in the UK, and founded in 2024 by co-founders Drew Barrett and Jade Batstone, Zendo Energy develop smart software solutions that assist data centers in optimizing energy consumption, reducing operational costs, and minimizing carbon emissions. In May 2025, Zendo Energy raised GBP 1. 75 million in pre-seed funding led by investor Fly Ventures, with participation from other investors Octopus Ventures and PactVC.   Zendo Energy's core product is an intelligent software platform designed to monitor and manage energy usage in data centers.

The platform leverages advanced analytics and real-time data to provide actionable insights, enabling operators to make informed decisions that enhance energy efficiency and reduce carbon footprints. Key features include dynamic load balancing, predictive maintenance alerts, and integration with renewable energy sources. By facilitating smarter energy management, Zendo Energy aims to support data centers in achieving sustainability goals without compromising performance. Zendo's platform also includes data-driven tools for impact assessment and performance monitoring, enhancing transparency for stakeholders and investors.

The company will use the May 2025 funding to expand its product development team and scale its platform in the UK and internationally.
