Founded in 1993, Dynamo Administração de Recursos (Dynamo) is an independent investment management firm located in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Structured as a partnership and with practically the same team since foundation, Dynamo focuses on the equity market, utilizing value investing as the main pillar in the decision-making process. The firm does not seek to predict short-term movements in the Brazilian equity market nor invest in a business that fundamental factors are not comprehensible, rather it seeks to identify long-term equity investments based on the intrinsic value of a business, taking in account preservation of capital.
