GalNet Asset Management (GAM) is an Illinois-based hedge fund manager. The firm was founded in 2001 by Kevin Galassini and Barry Netzky as the successor management company to KJG Management which was founded in 2001 by Kevin Galassini and contributed all of its assets to GAM. GAM is the management company for two funds, Vintage Capital (Vintage) and GalNet Alpha Fund (GAF). GalNet Alpha Fund is the successor fund to Vintage Capital. Mr. Galassini started Vintage in 2001, after transitioning his trading strategy from the trading floor to screen-based trading. GAF was launched in 2011, migrating the current qualified investors from Vintage and the trading strategy to the fund.
