North Rock Digital

North Rock Digital (North) is a Puerto Rico-based hedge fund manager established in 2021 by Philip Press. The firm manages a cryptocurrency hedge fund, North Rock Digital LP, that focuses on blockchain. It is primarily a fundamental thesis-driven digital assets hedge fund. The firm’s main strategy is to employ deep fundamental research and hold long-term positions. It strives to find the best-performing assets in the crypto space while also providing a level of downside protection. Additionally, North has two smaller strategies to diversify risk exposure: (1) a portion of the capital is allocated to systematic and opportunistic strategies; and (2) a final portion is allocated to early-stage private investments. The private investments focus on innovative areas that will help bridge the gap between Web 3.0 and the everyday world.
