Record is a long-established asset manager for institutional investors worldwide. Founded in 1983 by Neil Record as a FX specialist, the business grew largely around hedging for corporate and institutional clients, with mandates including the world’s first standalone currency hedge in 1985. Record Financial Group today delivers innovative, client-centric solutions for investors across derivatives, alternative credit and yield products, fixed income, private equity, emerging markets and, of course, FX. In 2007, the group’s parent company, Record plc, listed on the London Stock Exchange and is publicly traded. Over 70% of staff are owners of the business creating strong alignment with their mission and their clients. Record Financial Group is the collective name for the group of companies wholly or ultimately owned by the publicly listed holding company, Record plc, including Record Currency Management Limited and Record Asset Management GmbH.
